The outcome is not enough to transmit the complexity of things. To properly convey the method used in the Warehouse of Architecture and Research, we moved WAR to the Villino Stroganoff. We arranged as we do every morning at STUDIO, two on each side of the table. Our drafting machine has been metaphorically translated and exhibited under glass. Drawings, notes, sketches, quotations, prints, stickers tell a substrate on which our work rests and through which it is told. Specifically, we have collected here some of the projects for Rome, from 2013 to today. Assuming that Rome is not a human settlement but a psychic entity. Considering it as a mental horizon, an indispensable scenario for our business of architects. Finally, in each station, a book/magazine from the study archive, carefully selected by each of the eight members of the WAR team.
